WOW! What a busy and joyful month it has been.
Feliz Natal, that’s Merry Christmas here in Brazil!
The month began with the blessing of hosting two pastors and their families for dinner and meaningful conversation. On December 6th, Guta hosted her morning prayer group. The ladies arrived at 5:00 a.m. and stayed until 11:00 a.m., spending the morning in an incredible time of prayer and fellowship.
On December 7th, we welcomed the children’s ministry from First Baptist Church of Caxias. With 22 children and 20 adults, the day was filled with food, games, swimming, and lots of laughter. Everyone had a wonderful time. Then, on December 13th, we hosted Rizzo Baptist Church for a worship service and cookout. The afternoon included soccer, swimming, and great fellowship for all ages.
From December 15th through the 17th, we had the privilege of hosting a group of missionaries known as the Radicals. They range in age from 20 to 40 and serve with the Brazilian National Mission Board. Though they receive very little financial support, their housing is provided, allowing them to focus fully on their calling—evangelizing and planting churches in their assigned regions. For the past two years, they have been faithfully serving an area devastated by severe flooding, building relationships and laboring tirelessly. Their supervising pastor felt it would be a blessing for them to have a few days of rest, and we were honored to offer our facilities.
There were 15 women and 5 men, and people were sleeping everywhere! They were thrilled to have a few days to relax, recharge, and enjoy the space. This was the first time we hosted such a large group, and we are confident it will not be the last.
Thank you all so much for your continued prayerful support.
