OCC

One of our neighbors who lives higher up the mountain took a picture this month of a rainbow over our house. It was a beautiful reminder of God’s promises and faithfulness.

This past month was a difficult one for our family. I had to return to the United States for a period of time, and Guta traveled to São Paulo three times to be with her sister as our niece was in the hospital and nearing the end of her life.

While I was in the States, I had the privilege of helping pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child. It was a wonderful experience, and I am thankful for the incredible work OCC does around the world through this ministry. A special thank you to Jeff and Diane for the opportunity.

Shortly after I returned to Brazil, our niece passed away. We praise God for His infinite wisdom and mercy in her passing, and we ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers as we minister to her mother during this time of grief.

I would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Trinity Baptist Church for their faithful support of this ministry. They truly have a heart for serving the Lord and others.

In our Savior’s service,

Jim & Guta
